Introduction

The Canadian Security College (CSC) is a Professional Development Trainer that is firmly committed to our clients, their staff and to our professional development courses and students. The CSC is not a Private Career College in the Province of Ontario as all of our programs are either exempt or fall outside the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU) due to the type of training that we do.

We are dedicated in offering state of the art instruction by utilizing practitioners current in their respective field of expertise in such fields as Public Safety, Private Policing, Close Protection, and Medical and in Emergency Management programs. Over the next year the Canadian Security College will be developing its classes and expanding their potentials while we make formal application in becoming a Private Career College in Ontario. Once this process has been completed and approved we will be releasing a formal press release. We operate within the laws and ordinances of all jurisdictions believing that trustworthiness is our paramount goal and the core to our approach to higher learning.

All of the CSC programs are run by subject-matter and program development experts that are either accredited and/or certified in their field of expertise.

Who is the Canadian Security College

In the uncertain world of today, there is a constant threat of violence and disorder, not only in the major trouble spots, but in our own neighborhoods’ and at our borders. There is too great a demand on government resources for them to provide all the responses, and it is accepted that properly trained private security professionals are now a part of the solution. It is also unfortunately true that private security (without the proper training), can be a part of the problem, rather than a solution. The Canadian Security College exists to provide proper training to all professionals for the benefit of public safety.

The Canadian Security College (CSC) has its headquarters in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada and provides training to corporations and government bodies both within Canada and around the globe. It provides training opportunities within the fields of Paramedicine, Medical Support and First Aid, Emergency Management, Correctional Services Management, Fire Services, Executive Close Protection, Executive Close Protection and Precision Driving, Wilderness Survival and Counter-Terrorism. The goal of the CSC is to ensure public safety within the parameters of Provincial, Federal and International legislation.

The directors and staff of the Canadian Security College are subject-matter experts with many years of field experience. This practical experience is at the heart of all the courses, ensuring that there is realistic and relevant training for all students.

The CSC training programs have been designed to suit employers, employees and an individual’s specific professional requirements. In addition, CSC is able to make the necessary changes that allows the program to be unique and responsive to our clients own training and educational needs.

Both the Management and the Faculty at the CSC firmly believe that every private policing and public safety agency is committed to employing those practitioners who have the working knowledge and applicable skill sets to ensure public safety and property protection. The CSC’s primary objective is to ensure that we fulfill these needs.

The CSC will endeavour to post future training opportunities with as much advanced notice as possible. The CSC also offers programs in Close Personal Protection (CPP), Private Security Detail (PSD), and Advanced Driver training. Our strategic partnerships allow for both diversity and flexibility in all aspects of security and private policing training programs.

Some of our new programs currently being offered are in Emergency Management, Occupational Health and Safety, Use of Force Applications (Handcuffing, Baton, Fine-Edge Weapons Defense and Karate/Mixed Martial Arts), WHMIS, Smart Serve and many other programs in an array of public safety industries. The students and instructors of the Canadian Security College are rigorously screened for the purposes of national security and clearance status.
